configuring outlook (or any other email client):

pop mail account

(incoming mail)
Pop Server:
mail.yourwebsite.com (or   pop.yourwebsite.com)
username: username@yourwebsite.com
   ** (note that this requires the full email, not just the part before @)
password: •••••••

(Outgoing/sending mail)  ** authentication is required (for security purposes)
SMTP server:
mail.yourwebsite.com   (or   smtp.yourwebsite.com)
username:username@yourwebsite.com   ** (this requires the full email, not just the part before @)
password: •••••••
**You may need to adjust the port number (outgoing smtp) to 543
** You need to check (√) off the box that said my server requires authentication.

You can also access your accounts via webmail at:
http://mail.yourwebsite.com (smartermail)
